Shell - Tutorial for beginners

This tutorial acquaints you with shell tool functions. Follow the steps as shown below:
1) Create a cube as shown in
Figure 1
. {Follow First 9 steps in
Extrude - Tutorial for beginners
to create a cube}

2) Select shell tool from the toolbar as shown in
Figure 2
.

3) When Shell dialogue appears select the face as shown in
Figure 3
. and enter 5 mm as the value for thickness as shown in
Figure 4
and click Ok.

4) The resultant solid part will be as shown in
Figure 5
.
