Creating a tapered angle spring with constant pitch value in Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0

This step by step guides you on creating a tapered angle spring with constant pitch value in Pro/Engineer Wildfire. Follow the steps as shown below:  
 
1) Let us open a new part file. Follow first 2 steps in "Creating a Sketch - Tutorial for beginners" to learn how to open a new part file. Now go to "Insert" menu and select "Helical Sweep>>Protrusion" as shown in figure 1.

2) When the "Menu Manager" dialog box appears select "Constant", "Thru Axis" and "Right Handed" under "Attributes" when finished click "Done" as shown in figure 2.

3) Now select "Front" datum for sketch plane and "Top" datum for top reference. Now create a center line that passes through the origin and then create a line with 115 degree angle leaning towards center line with 300.0 height and 100.0 right from the origin as shown in figure 3. When finished click on button to accept the sketch.
