Photoshop - Creating web banner - Tutorial for beginner

This tutorial exercise provides step by step instructions on how to create a web banner using photoshop. Follow the steps as shown below:

1) Open Photoshop and create a New file with width 700 pixels and height 200 pixels as shown in Figure 1.

2) Now let us create a new layer from the layers palette then select Rounded rectangle tool and click on your layer and drag as shown in Figure 2.

3) The resultant image would be as shown in Figure 3.

4) Now let us right click on the Layer and choose blending options as shown in Figure 4
