This tutorial exercise provides step by step instructions on how to create metallic text in photoshop. Follow the steps as
shown below: |

| 1) Open Photoshop and create a New file as shown in Figure 1.

2) Now let us fill black color in the blank layer with help of Paint Bucket tool {I have selected black color background for
this tutorial} as shown in Figure 2.

3) Now let us insert a new layer on which we shall type the text {You can choose font, size and color as per your
requirement} as shown in Figure 3. After typing the text you need to do the following:

| You should Rasterize the Layer. |
| Right click on the Text Layer and click on Rasterize layer. |
| Next you have to make a copy of the layer. |
Right click on the text layer and click on Duplicate layer or (Ctrl+j). You will find two text layers. |
| Next Step is grouping the layers Press (ctrl+g). |
