Creating Key Holder Parts - Tutorial for beginners

This tutorial on part creation provides a step by step illustration on creating base part used in a Key holder assembly. Follow the below steps for details. 
 
1) Open Inventor as shown in step one to nine in the following link - Core Rod Extension - and draw a circle as shown in Figure 1.

2) Now let us add constraint to the sketch with general dimension and then edit the dimension as per our requirement. Let us change the diameter to 0.375 as shown in Figure 2 and then click on button to exit sketcher work bench.

3) Now let us go to "Isometric" view by clicking on "View" menu as shown in Figure 3.
