Modeling a Screw - Tutorial for beginners

This illustrated step by step tutorial guides you on creating a Screw model. Follow the instructions as shown below: 
 
1) Open Inventor as shown in step one to nine in the following link - Core Rod Extension - and create a a circle and edit the dimensions as shown in Figure 1.

2) Now go to "Isometric" view as shown in Figure 2.

3) Select "Extrude" tool from "Part Features" toolbar as shown in Figure 3.

4) When "Extrude" dialog box appears select solid as "Output" and in "Extents" select "Distance" and select "Join" option for extrusion as shown in Figure 4. Select the circle that we created in step 1 as the "Profile" and choose a direction of "Extents" and click ok.
