This tutorial on part creation provides a step by step illustration on creating a pin used in a hinge assembly. Follow the below steps for details. 
 
1) Open Inventor as shown in step one to nine in the following link - Core Rod Extension - and draw a sketch as as shown in Figure 1..

2) Now add constraint to the sketch with general dimension then edit the dimension as per your requirement as shown in Figure 2 . After finished click on button to exit sketcher work bench.

3) Then go to isometric view and then click on button to which opens up "Revolve" property dialog box as shown in Figure 3.. Click on "Axis" button and set the revolve "Extents" to "Full" as shown in below image.

4) The resultant part would be as shown in Figure 4.

5) Now click on button in "Part Feature" panel. When "Chamfer" dialog box appears select bottom edge of the part and set "Distance" to 0.08 inch as shown in Figure 5.
