This tutorial exercise provides step by step instructions explaining how to create a solid combine resulting from intersection of two profiles. Follow the steps as shown below:
1) Create a sketch on YZ plane as shown in Figure 1.

2) Create one more sketch on XY plane as shown in Figure 2.

3) After exiting sketcher work bench select Solid Combine tool from toolbar or from Insert>Sketcher-Based Features>Solid
Combine menu as shown in Figure 3 and 4 respectively.

4) When "Combine Definition" dialogue box pops up select sketch 2 as the First Component Profile and sketch 1 as Second
Component Profile as shown in Figure 5 and the preview of the solid part would be as shown in
Figure 6.

5) The resultant part would be as shown in Figure 7.
