In this tutorial you are going to learn to create a Rib feature on an existing solid model. This tutorial provides all the
step-by-step instructions you need to create a rib feature on an existing solid model. Follow the steps as shown below:
1) Open the part like the one shown in Figure 1.

2) Create a sketch as shown in Figure 2.

3) Create one more sketch as shown in Figure 3.

4) Now select Rib tool from toolbar or from Insert>Sketcher-Based Features>Rib menu as shown in
Figure 4 and 5 respectively.

5) When "Rib Definition" dialogue box appears enter the parameters as shown in figure 6.

6) When you click ok button in "Rib Definition" dialogue box the part would be as shown in figure 7.
