Pocket - Tutorial for beginners

This tutorial exercise provides step by step instructions on how to create a Pocket on an existing solid body. Follow the steps as shown below: 
 
1) I am going to use the pocket feature on the part that I have already created as shown in Figure 1. {Click the link to know how the part shown in Figure 1 was created}

2) Let us create a sketch on yz plane as shown in Figure 2.

3) Now exit the sketcher work bench and select the Pocket feature from the tool bar or from Insert>Sketcher-Based Feature>Pocket menu as shown in Figure 3 and 4 respectively.

4) When Pocket Feature is selected "Pocket Definition" dialogue box appears as shown in figure5 and the preview of the part will be as shown in Figure 6.

5) When Thick button from the "Pocket Definition" dialogue box is selected with the parameters as shown in figure7, then resultant part will be as shown in figure 8.
