In this tutorial exercise you are going to learn how to draw a line.
1) Select line icon as shown in Figure 1 or from Draw drop down menu as shown in
Figure 2 or you can type "line" or just "l" in the command prompt as shown in

2) Now move the cursor on the model space and click once to specify first point as shown in Figure 4
.

3) Now specify next point as shown in Figure 5.

4) After extending the line to what ever shape you want just RMB and select "Enter" as shown in
Figure 6 or you can just press "Esc" in the keyboard.
