5) Now you can see that the view has changed. Now create a rectangle as shown in Figure 5. {To create a rectangle see "Drawing a rectangle - Tutorial for beginners"}

6) Now click "Extrude" tool from the toolbar or from Drawing>Solids>Extrude menu as shown in Figure 6 and 7 respectively.

7) Now select the rectangle when prompted to select an object as shown in Figure 8.

8) Now right click on the mouse and enter 5 when asked to specify the height of extrusion as shown in Figure 9.
