This segment of tutorial exercise provides step by step instruction on creating a solid cone in AutoCAD.
1) Open new AutoCAD session {Learn how a new session can be started by seeing this link}
and click "cone" tool from toolbar as shown in Figure 1 or go to draw menu at the top of the
application window to select "cone" as shown in Figure 2 or type "cone" in command line as shown
in Figure 3.

2) After selecting "Cone" tool you would be prompted to specify center point for base of cone, I have entered 0,0 and 0 as shown in
figure 4, now press enter in key board.

3) After entering center point for base of the cone you would be prompted to specify radius for base of cone, I have entered
20 as shown in Figure 5. After entering the values for radius press enter in the keyboard.

4) After entering radius for base of the cone you would be prompted to specify height the of cone, I have entered
40 as shown in Figure 6. After specifying the height of the cone press enter in the key
board.
