How to change color of selection box?

Let us see how the selection box color can be changed in this short tip. Go to "Tools" menu and click "Options" as shown in Figure 1. . When "Options" dailog box appears click on "Selection" tab as shown in Figure 2. now click on "Visual Effect Settings" button as shown in Figure 3. and when "Visual Effect Settings" dailog box appears you can change the colors as per your requirement. Other way around is to type "WINDOWAREACOLOR" or "CROSSINGAREACOLOR" {both of system variable controls the color of the transparent selection area during window selection. The valid range is 1 to 255. SELECTIONAREA must be on} in command line and change the value of the color as per your requirement.
