While inserting a block with attributes I am no longer prompted as to what the values should be?

While inserting a block with attributes if you are no longer prompted as to what the values should be and you are shown the default values that were given when the blocks where created. Then check whether the attributes are set to "Constant" mode, that could be the reason. Then you have to make sure that ATTDIA System Variable value is set to "1" which Controls the INSERT command to use a dialog box for attribute value entry. And you have to check whether ATTREQ System variable value is set to "1", which Turns on prompts or a dialog box for attribute values, as specified by ATTDIA.
